Jason Pockrus,Esq



A native of Texas, Jason D. Pockrus, Esq., fell in love with the Lowcountry when he was stationed in Charleston in 2002. After almost 12 years of naval service, Mr. Pockrus transitioned to the private sector as a firefighter with Mount Pleasant Fire Department while he completed a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Mr. Pockrus attended the Charleston School of Law and became a member of the South Carlina Bar in November 2013.  Mr. Pockrus served as a volunteer with the Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem program and founded The Mobile Lawyer, LLC prior to joining the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) in 2016. While at DSS, Mr. Pockrus worked as a County Attorney in Berkeley County and then Managing Attorney in Colleton County before returning to Berkeley County as Managing Attorney in March 2021.

Mr. Pockrus enjoys helping clients and families achieve their goals, oftentimes during the most trying moments of their life. After almost three decades of public service, Mr. Pockrus is proud to join CHSA Law where he can continue his legacy of service to others.
